Consultation period for 169-173 Blackfriars Road ends 6 June – time to post your comments

May 30, 2013 by Juha Repo

The proposed development in Blackfriars Road, that gave the start to BARD, is now in the last week of the consultation process. Any comments will have to be sent to Southwark Council planning by 6 June 2013.

The planning application is available to see on the Southwark Council website, but we will also help you by posting the available computer generated images of the building that Linden Homes wants to build, replacing the existing Imbibe Pub and the Victorian terrace with the dry cleaners, newsagents and Blackfriars Cafe.

We have previously published some principles that should be followed in a successful objection. If some of you feel unable to see where the start, here is a model of what a basic objection could look like:

How can I comment on the plans?

You can email or write to Planning Applications, Southwark Council, PO Box 64529, London SE1P 5LX Quote Ref 13/AP/0966 [Linden Homes South East Ltd and Thames Valley Housing Association]. You will need to give your postal address. Your comments will be made public. You should say if you do not wish your address to be published. If you are sending by email, you should include your comments in an attachment if you do not want your address published
